my kids school has a dress code. I’m ok with it, but recognize the desire to put square pegs in square holes is more than just about dress. Like a guy said to me the other day, you can graduate with a “D” average and thats ok, but bel ate for class everyday and you’ll be expelled. They aren’t educating they are turning out perfect little automaton employees, and now they wish to make them dress the part.

Seriously, y’all are just too adorable and cute. But I can’t read either of your blogs while dining anymore as there is no one living here to do the Heimlich when I start to laugh and choke to death.

However, Desdemona… I’ve seen the pics with the hair and the ’70s porn star mustache. I’m not so sure the taste in clothes was JUST a result of the fire (those shorts! augh!!!)…

I have a good friend who thought that Kenny Rogers and Dolly were singing..’Private Industry, that is what we are’…she was puzzled but thought, ‘ok..they probably are loaded enough to be considered private industry, but why would you sing about that..

I don’t have any children, but I always thought if and when I did, if I was forced to choose between all boys and all girls, I wanted all boys. I think mainly because boys just seemed easier. Maybe I was wrong, LOL!

Oddly enough, though, my future husband comes from a family of four boys and no girls…
